B A G F#
Hey, where are you? Where did you go?
B A G F#
Hey, what happened? How could I have known?
G A B G A B
But now, I am all alone, yes, now, I am all alone
B A G F#
Words, said in anger, they’ve taken their toll
B A G F#
Words, and the memories, they torment my soul
G A B G A B
‘Cause I am all alone, yes, I am all alone
B A G F#
Oh, for another chance, to make things right
B A G F#
Oh, for forgiveness, instead of this night
G A B G A B
And I am so alone, and I am so alone.

Safe in Momma’s arms
Sleep,little darling
Safe in Daddy’s arms
Sleep, little darling
Safe from every harm
Though the night is long
Though the dark is cold
Sleep, little darling
Safe in Daddy’s arms
Our love will guide you
Safe through the night
Angels will hold you
All will be right
Though the night is long
Though the dark is cold
Sleep, little darling
Safe in Jesus’ arms
Remembering a long night a year ago plus a few days, when my grandson, Levi David Hysjulien, was born and then fought for two day for life before passing away in his mother’s arms.

Alone
All alone
You are gone
And now I am alone
The last few words…
You left
Before they could be said
And now I’m by myself
All alone…
Joined in love, you have moved our hearts
You lightly touched the earth, yet we’re changed forever.
Joined in love, changed from above
A miracle has touched our hearts, and now we’re free to love.
Through tears and sorrow you left us too soon
Our hearts were broken, yet you brought us together again.
Joined in love, a tiny heart beats
We hear the echoes loud, we hear heaven’s sound.
Joined in love, with hope from above
New life resounds knowing our miracle has come.
You are our miracle, our line in the sand
We may not understand
Our Faith will stand.
Joined in love, you have moved our hearts
You lightly touched the earth, yet we are changed forever.
Words by Jim Hysjulien, Levi’s Grandpa

“You have a phone call”
I was talking with my friend, George, when the call came.
I picked up the phone.
It was Steve.
Moments later Steve told me that Gary Mason had died.
I brushed off the words like flying birds and continued to wait for new ones…
Then I asked him what he just said.
And he repeated it.
My years with Gary appeared before me.
Then it began to come home.
The phone call was over and I looked at George.
The tears began to well up in my eyes.
But cowboys don’t cry.
George is my friend.
Gary is gone and I shall miss him.
And I am somehow more alive because of him.
I first met Gary Mason in 1994, when he and three other business partners and friends came to the Computer Place to get computers built for their new Internet service, ATNET Connections. Later, 1997, when we purchased ATNET Connections from the partners, Gary was our bookkeeper. The friendship continued long after ATNET and he was always a person of high moral and spiritual encouragement in my life.
